Thank you, Kim. Those doves were all fluffed out yesterday before the snow trying to get all the seeds stuffed in before the weather changed to snow. Sara K

Beautiful Tanka. From the picture of the dove, it is evident how cold is the air, though no white snow to be seen anywhere as Gershon has commented.

Yes, Valsa. We did not get snow, but the frost was thick and very white really frozen there for a few days. The frost had everything well coated. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Thank you, Kim. I know it has been hard on the birds because they are not used to the extreme cold. I carry hot water out every morn that the birdbaths are frozen so they can get a drink if they need it. Sara K

Yes, Tom, a serene scene from the kitchen window. It was heavy frost and frozen birdbaths, but we were blessed in that we only got rain with a tiny bit of ice in it so, we were not without electricity which powers everything. Thanks for the kind review. Sara K
