"The phrase broken crayons still color is a metaphorical way of
saying, that even when people or things are flawed, imperfect,
or broken, they can still be valuable and contribute positively."

Crayola Factor Giveaway | Eyewitness News

I like to dream in bright crayon color, no brown, black, or orange pigments for me; blue, green, purple, yellow, technicolor, and turquoise blue and green like the vast sea. As a child I liked all the hues of green, and blue was very calming to my soul; so those greens and blues are found in my dream, and in my dreamy green forests I stroll. When I feel broken I dream in torch red, with imperfect crayons like dripping blood; I lay dreaming in my brass antique bed, my tears falling, falling like a spring flood. When happy my dream is periwinkle; and all the crayon colors that sparkle.
